Organoids are advanced 3D cellular models that closely resemble specific organs or tissues in the body. These models can be derived from both pluripotent stem cells (PSCs) and adult stem cells (ASCs). Their ability to self-renew and differentiate into various cell types is facilitated by the presence of growth factors and extracellular matrices (ECM), which provide the necessary scaffold for cell attachment and support.
